HIST 407 - The Global Cold War

After a general introduction to the theme, the course focuses on one country or region at a time in a chronological study of Cold War hot-spots. Ending with discussion of the ways in which the Cold War has influenced current debates and challenges.

Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 .

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. analyze the different local, national, and international contexts involved in the Cold War.
2. identify the major events and actors involved in the Cold War.
