IMSE 492 - Simulation

This course provides students with the necessary skills to develop and analyze simulation models for industrial engineering problems. It focuses on the application of simulation modeling to industrial engineering problems. Students will learn how to develop, analyze, and interpret simulation models for various systems in industrial settings.

Prerequisite(s): IMSE 310 , IMSE 468 , and CHE 245

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
2. apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
3. develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
