The Department of Art, Art History & Design offers many areas of emphasis for students, including art history, art studio, book and publication arts, ceramics, digital media, graphic arts, painting and drawing, photography and videography, printmaking and sculpture. Students may work in a specific area of specialization or explore a range of practices in a variety of media.

I. Program Requirements (21 units)
This minor is not open to students pursuing a studio art major (Art, B. A. or Art, B. F. A.). Students majoring in another field may minor in Ceramics by completing the following requirements:
- Minor GPA| 2. 0
- Minor Upper-Division Units| 9
- Minor Residency Requirement| 6 Upper-Division Units in the minor at UNR
- Unit Limits: Per College of Liberal Arts policy, no more than 9 units counted toward any major may be reused to meet the requirements of this minor.
