Business Administration, Minor

This minor program is for non-College of Business Administration students only who desire a background in general business to complement their own major program.

The number of students pursuing a minor in Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno has been climbing rapidly in recent years, and for good reason. More students are realizing that with the option of a business minor, they can major in their principal academic interest, but also gain  real business knowledge that makes them attractive to employers. Moreover, a student with a Business Administration minor has the real business knowledge that can help inform their decisions—for example, a student with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering who also earns a minor in Business Administration has the real skills necessary to not only  succeed in designing electrical infrastructure, but also manage the company.
