The Business Analytics minor is designed to prepare students for desirable and lucrative jobs in one of the fastest-growing areas in today’s global economy. Students will learn core concepts in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. This will provide them with essential analytical and computational skills required to gain a competitive advantage in the job market. The minor is open to all undergraduate students at the university.
*All course prerequisites must be met for all coursework for minor.

I. Program Requirements (18 units)
Students must complete the following courses: A. Required Courses (12 units)
B. Additional Upper-Division Courses (6 units)
Note(s):
- ECON 262 can be substituted with an equivalent course.
- Six (6) of the required upper-division units must be completed at UNR.
- Nine (9) or more units used for any minor at UNR must be upper-division coursework.
- Business students must have a declared major in order to declare a business minor.
