This is an online program.
The Esports Certificate program equips students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the dynamic and rapidly expanding Esports industry. The curriculum explores the Esports ecosystem, revenue strategies, and audience engagement, with a focus on practical applications such as tournament design and implementation. Graduates will be prepared for careers in event management, marketing, content creation, team operations, and more, gaining hands-on experience in this innovative field.

Program Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to: - demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Esports ecosystem, including key stakeholders, industry structure, and trends, to analyze and respond to emerging opportunities in the field.
- develop strategies for monetization and fan engagement in the Esports industry by applying marketing principles, audience analysis, and partnership development techniques.
- apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create innovative revenue strategies and value propositions for Esports teams, organizations, and events.
- evaluate the ethical, cultural, and social impacts of Esports, including considerations for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and integrate these principles into professional practices within the industry.
- design and implement Esports events, integrating event planning, logistics, team management, and audience engagement strategies to deliver successful live and virtual events.
Program Requirements (9 units)
Students will be required to complete three courses for the Esports certificate. |
