MIL 203 - Cultural Understanding and Language Program (1 unit) CO11 Participants experience 30 consecutive days, and up to three different venues during immersion, including host nation military-to-military exchange, humanitarian service, and education on the social, cultural and historical aspects of the country.
Prerequisite(s): MIL 201 .
Grading Basis: Graded Units of Lecture: 1 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. contextualize current events and experiences in relation to historical and current global contexts. 2. articulate and evaluate connections among local, national, and international contexts. 3. apply modes of academic inquiry, creative expression, or results of research to problems in historical and contemporary global contexts.
